Savory Chicken and Broccoli Baked Alfredo is a comforting and delicious dish that combines tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and creamy Alfredo sauce, all baked to perfection. This recipe is perfect for family dinners or meal prep, as it provides a hearty serving of protein and vegetables in a rich, cheesy sauce. The combination of flavors and textures makes it an instant favorite among both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pasta: 8 ounces uncooked penne or ziti
  • Broccoli: 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • Chicken: 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • Alfredo Sauce: 1 (15-ounce) jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce
  • Cheese:
    • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Seasoning:
    • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions, but reduce the cooking time by one minute. Add the broccoli florets to the pot during the last two minutes of cooking.
  3. Drain the pasta and broccoli, then transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning to the bowl. Mix everything until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the mixture.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 20-25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
  8. For a golden top, you can broil it for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  9. Serve hot, seasoned with salt and pepper as desired.
